Medieval Times Night’s Watch
Tomorrow’s my 29th birthday. We’re celebrating it tonight by going to Medieval Times in Anaheim with all of your friends from Art Center, who coincidentally are the same people we have our Game of Thrones viewing and discussion parties with. In a discussion on Facebook I made a Medieval Times Night’s Watch Oath as well as the above photo, thought I would share it with you because I think it’s pretty funny:
Night gathers, and now my watch begins.
It shall not end until my death, or until the end of the show.
I shall pay no less than $15 per beer, hold no parking spot, bring no children because there will be enough there already.
I shall wear no crowns except for the color that I am given and win no glory unless my knight is predestined to win.
I shall live and eat and drink plentiful at my post.
I am the wooden sword in the darkness.
I am the watcher in the bleachers.
I am the drunk spectator that verbally burns our foe, the horn that wakes the bored, the wooden shield that guards the realms of Anaheim.
I pledge my life and honor to the Medieval Times Night’s Watch, for this night and all nights to come.
