Pirate Wench concept art for a painting used on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride by Marc Davis. As far as I can tell, this is low res scan that seems to be digitally touched up by someone else, using the original sketch by Marc Davis as a base. This is the final painting as it appears on the ride; another Disney Imagineering artist, from what I understand, did the final painting.

So I’ve mentioned before my friend and I are in the middle of writing an epic graphic novel, by epic I mean in size and length. Hopefully the story will end up being pretty epic too, I think it is.
These are some final designs of two of the characters. On the left you have Sergei Borovsky, aka The Red Fighting Wolf-Man; who is the main protagonist. On the right is Carvett Wilkes, aka The Ice King.
The story follows a circus sideshow act called The Magnificent Marvels in 1905 America while they use their abilities and powers to save the West Coast from certain destruction. That’s all I can say.
